MASTROSUB is the natural evolution of a journey that began in 1980 when Thanasis Mastrogeorgiou founded MASTRO in the heart of Athens. Starting from a deep love for the sea, nature, and hands-on craftsmanship, he began importing and distributing fishing equipment to stores across Greece, focusing on quality, accessibility, and trust.
Over the years, our expertise in all types of fishing gear laid the foundation for something greater: a full-scale spearfishing gear manufacturing unit. Inspired by the Greek sea and the needs of real divers, we created MASTROSUB, a brand dedicated to building solid, honest gear for the underwater world.
